Konnichiwa! Hi there, I am just like one of you who fell in
love with Japanese culture. In fact, I am a die hard fan of
Japanese cartoon and comics, my favorite books and films are
Detective Conan, Doraemon, Crayon Shin-chan, Chibi Maruko-chan,
Hayao Miyazaki’s films and many good productions. Trust me,
these are not just for kids. You will love it!
Last year, I decided to learn Japanese that help further my
study on Japanese culture. To a student, study in a language
school is simply too costly. The best deal is to have a good
but cheap Japanese language study martial. Through many trials
on different books and methods, and I think there are few
pretty good. Right now, I’d like to share my experience with
all of you who have same interests.

Rocket Japanese is my
favorite study book that fits all personal
study needs perfectly. At first, the price is
only 100 bucks, but the quality is much worthy.
This course covers from beginner level to
advance level with all necessary culture notes.
It is unlike traditional teaching tools which
allowed you to download it to PC. More
conveniently, you can even download all audio
courses from the PC to a mini Mp3 player, carry
on personal study whenever you like.
This dynamic course could enable you to learn
Japanese rapidly, effectively, and easily. You
will master general topics in everyday life
right way, such as speak at a restaurant, at a
train station, with new friends, ask for help
or directions... basically every situation you
can imagine in a foreign country.
Comprehensive interactive audio courses give
you confidence to speak in Japanese naturally
and fluently in 8 weeks. Detailed grammar
lessons and examples plus invaluable cultural
notes let you adapt the natural way to speak
like native Japanese. Additionally, 3 more
learning game software provide a lot of fun
along to remember over 1000 useful
vocabularies, recognize the sound of tons of
Japanese words, and even writing in Japanese
characters.
If you aim to do well in
reading and writing, then you shouldn’t miss
the MegaHiragana software. This specially
designed study tool will leads students to high
standard. Hiragana is the character to
represent the sounds of the Japanese language,
and is essential to the writing system. Though
MegaHiragana I easily recognize and memorize
writing completely painless.
Therefore I strongly
recommended the incredible Rocket Japanese to
everyone want to be bilingual in Japanese. It
is just easy to master Japanese!

Rosetta Stone Japanese is
an award-winning program that ever used by NASA
and the Peace Corps. This powerful 2-CD set of
learning courses satisfy your study needs and
imparts a strong foundation in Japanese.
This program initially starts from apple, boy,
girl and basic words through pictures of
objects. The immersion approach helps you learn
vocabularies and pronunciation easily and fast
(if you like the learning style). You can
practice all listening, reading and speaking
exercises by attach headphones or microphone to
your PC. Of course, the study procedure require
certain time sit in front the computer, basic
knowledge of using PC and software, steady
eyesight can tolerate long hours of watching
monitor. I am quite disappointed that I
couldn’t access the CD other than computer.
However, I suggest that you should have
additional books or sources to gain basic
understanding of the language because there is
no English in the program. Furthermore, this
course didn’t explain well the difference of
certain important words, such as “mother” – in
Japanese the words of mother is different to
your mother or someone’s mother. So I think
this product is seriously over priced for the
quality.
If you
get Rosetta Stone Japanese (which you
shouldn't) you shall absolutely need additional
sources to guide you learn better. Thus why do
you spend more money and effort instead of make
Rocket Japanese as your first
choice?

The Pimsleur language
course was designed by Dr Pimsleur and first
published in 1999. It’s quite long ago so you’d
better limited your exception. Although it was
the best study program, and till now is also
popular.
The current 3rd edition of Pimsleur audio book
come in three level, and each book cost you
over 300 plus. The book includes 30 lessons of
essential grammar and vocabulary to help you
able communicate in simple topics, for
instance, car, money, direction, time, date,
numbers and not much.
When I finished level one, I already quite
fired up with the book. The book is very basic
in communication, less choice of topics, and
few hundreds of vocabularies. Personally, I
feel this course is easy to lean but too basic
to someone serious want to master Japanese.
If money is not a problem to you, and you just
want the basic, then it is right for you!
What level do you wan to achieve in your
Japanese study journey? Aim your goal and
choose the right learning program! All the
Best!
